Sasseens is a family-run concern which tries to provide clients with a blend of knowledge, flair, design, skill and helpful service. Its number one priority is the satisfaction of its clients, and the team prides itself on offering affordable prices. Sasseens has a long commitment to the jewellery industry and strives to provide customers with expert, reliable and trustworthy service.

Callie Sasseen is the only member in Kwazulu-Natal who belongs to the Diamond Club of South Africa. This comprises almost 200 of South Africa's leading diamond merchandises and requires extremely high entrance criteria for membership. Callie is a pioneer of the jewellery association of SA, and was the longest serving chairman of all the provinces represented. It was the only time a father and son team had been represented as chairman and vice-chairman respectively. He is an expert on buying loose diamonds for investments as well as that special diamond engagement ring, and is always on hand to offer advise.

His son, Alan, has twice been an award winner for the prestigious South African Diamonds Today Competition. He is well known for his skillfully designed jewellery and has won the African Designer Award. as a tribute to the craftsmanship of this Goldsmith and Designer. His flair for design ensures individually designed exclusive jewellery, set with stones made available at affordable prices.

CUSTOMERS NEEDS

Apart from designing and manufacturing original jewellery in the workshop on the premesis, Sasseens also redesigns, remodels and repairs pieces in accordance with the customers needs and budgets.

Sasseens repairs watches with a six month guarantee and evaluates jewellery items for insurance purposes. Alan also designs and manufactures a mixture of European and traditional Indian jewellery to suit every occasion. The team assures customers that no requet is too big or too small. Sasseens is not only proud of the jewellery it creates, but also of its special brand of personal customer service.
